Cost Analyst Sr. Staff (328769)

Lockheed Martin Information Technology-Professional Services is looking for a Sr. Cost Analyst to develop Life Cycle Cost Estimates for R&D and Production product lines. Conduct economic analysis; review cost proposals and provide conduct alternative of analysis. Candidate will allocate costs, collect data, and prepare reports that maintain the company's cost accounting system. Ensures that costs are allocated according to established procedures. Will gather historical cost data on such activities as material purchases, labor, equipment depreciation, repairs, assembly, operating expenses, etc. Will also investigate cost structures for new and existing areas of the company. candidate will price new services or products by developing unit costs and projecting expenses. Prepares reports that compare budgets with actual expenses. May prepare existing or projected profitability analyses. May recommend, design, or develop revisions to the cost accounting system.This is a full time position located in Ft. Belvoir, VA. REQUIREMENTS
US citizen with a current DoD secret security clearance (selected applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information). This position requires a minimum of ten years experience in Cost Analyst. Must have experience with ACEIT (Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools).
