Corporate Staff Accountant

Our client a global manufacturer is seeking a Corporate Staff Accountant for their corporate offices in Ft Worth Texas. You will work closely with the CFO whom I have known for many years and who is an outstanding mentor and leader and with the senior corporate accounting and finance team. You will be responsible for supporting the work of the CFO including but not limited to preparing detailed financial analysis, creating and working on Excel spreadsheets, improving accounting processes, general accounting, analysis, etc. You will be interacting with people at plants all over the world gathering information, creating various analysis and learing from one of the best finance guys in manufacturing in the country. The candidate will have a minimum of a 4 year degree in accounting and at least 2 years relevent experience in accounting and finance. Experience in a public accounting firm is a plus. A CPA or other distinction is preferred. You will have solid accounting skills and analysis skills. You will be able to utilize an Excel spreadsheet to create a broad base of financial analysis tools and other financial data; you will have a good understanding of financial reporting and analysis; some exposure to manufacturing is a plus but is not a requirement. You will have well developed oral and written communication skills, you will be well organized and you will have a positive attitude.
