Core Equity Strategist

Hours/Schedule: 8:00 AM -- 5:00 PM Description: The Equite Strategist is responsible for managing quantiative equity investment. This includes day-to-day management of mutual funds, a common trust fund, and separate accounts, as well as maintaining and performing analysis on a model portfolio. He or she is also responsible for providing marketing support and materials related to this strategy, including monthly portfolio write-ups and portfolio characteristics, providing written analysis on market trend and the positioning of the portfolio, and meeting with prospects and clients regarding the quantitative strategies.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and/or work experience; advanced degree (MBA, PhD) preferred. A minimum 10 years of professional experience; CFA designation; experience in developing investment strategies using quantitative methods and trading strategies necessary. Experience with Factset, Bloomberg and risk models (preferably Northfield), and the ability to manage and develop staff are also essential.
