Anti-Money Laundering Analyst
Responsible for administering all components of the corporate Anti-Money Laundering program
Provide corporate-wide Anti-Money Laundering support by performing OFAC reviews, administering the Customer Identification Program (CIP) and monitoring and reporting suspicious activity. Monitor day-to-day corporate business activities to ensure that all activities are in compliance with the appropriate rules/regulations/legislation that pertain to the U.S. Patriot Act and FinCEN 314 (a) & (b) requirements. Assist the AML Officer to ensure that the corporate AML program is updated and maintained. This is accomplished by monitoring all transactional activity and reporting activities that are deemed suspicious or inappropriate, to the AML Officer. Partner with all other compliance support and centralized units to monitor and ensure the effectiveness of the AML program. Assist the AML Officer in establishing a single point of contact for AML regulatory and compliance matters. Identifies compliance requirements affecting all lines of business within each broker dealer, in order to advise business-driven initiatives from an AML compliance perspective (e.g. product development; new system)Work with the AML Officer to build and sustain credible relationships with Compliance Officers and all other business customers.Develop and leverage effective partnerships with areas that perform compliance-related activities, affecting the corporate AML program and helps develop the necessary training for these areas. Assist in the deciphering & translation of AML regulatory requirements into business language that is relevant, understandable, timely and impact-oriented. Perform compliance reviews and self-assessments for all broker dealers and works with managers to resolve uncovered issues. Elevate material compliance risks / issues to management & initiates corrective actions if necessary. Work with the AML Officer to represent all broker-dealers on official compliance audits and regulatory exams, both internally and externally.Assist in the design, development and implementation of the Insurance product automation Assist in the design, development and implementation of Reconciliation Automation Develop and implement a risk assessment tool in order to update the current risk rating of existing products. Assist in meeting deadlines for any AML related regulatory change Monitor AML adherence by business areas through on-line systems and business area audits (Compliance manager and CWF).

REQUIREMENTS
Experience requirements include a Bachelors Degree or a minimum of 7 years work experience at a financial institution.Strong financial services product knowledge is required. Knowledge of NASD, SEC, IRS and state insurance department rules and regulations.Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, operational and interpersonal skills are required.The individual must pass the necessary exams required by the Compliance area within 6 months of hiring.
