Objective:


To write and edit communications materials for the office of the Chairman, and to assist the Director of Executive Communications on varied initiatives and in achieving strategic goals.


Responsibilities


Writing and editing speeches, memoranda, talking points, correspondence, briefing books and other essential communications materials.


Coordinating written communications with Corporate Communications units and company-wide.


Serving as liaison to the office of the Chairman, members of senior management and varied business area staff.

Demonstrated writing skill in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented setting.

Candidate must have proven ability to assess and interpret facts, to develop and synthesize key messages into written materials, to translate company priorities into new contexts, and to deliver high-quality written work with minimal supervision.


The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is willing to carry a BlackBerry at all times and work some unpredictable and weekend hours.

REQUIREMENTS


4+ years in corporate/executive communications, news media journalism or equivalent


Bachelor's degree.
