Commercial Lines Underwriter

Philadelphia Insurance Companies (NASDAQ symbol = PHLY; AM Best rating of A+ IX), designs, markets and underwrites Specialty lines and Commercial Package products on a niche basis. Our Mission Viejo, CA regional office is currently searching for a Commercial Lines Underwriter with at least 2 years experience.
Job Description and Responsibilities
Commercial Lines Underwriter will be expected to accomplish production goals for written premium in assigned regions including renewal and new business.
Primarily handling Small Business Accounts for Western Region
Must Ensure that policies are issued, mailed and endorsements are addressed within established goals. Monitor and improve service to preferred agents.
REQUIREMENTS
ExperienceAt least 2 years experience Package Underwriting experience. Demonstrates solid knowledge of Industry.
Education/Certification
Bachelor's degree preferred.
