We are actively recruiting for a Commercial Appraiser who can utilize their strong business acumen in sizing, comparing and analyzing commercial real estate to determine fair market value for collateral lending purposes and prepare appraisals that meet GreenPoint guidelines. We will set you up with a home office while you conduct appraisals through direct inspection of income producing properties to establish and estimate of fair market value in New York City, Nassau and Suffolk markets. Properties financed include, multi-family, mixed-use, retail, office and light industrial buildings.Essential Skills
You are the ideal candidate if you posses the following attributes:
NYS Certified General License, Valid Driver License and use of own vehicle.
Thorough knowledge of the New York City, Nassau and Suffolk markets.
Minimum of 5 years demonstrated Commercial real estate experience in inspecting and preparing appraisals for a lending institution on multi-family, mixed use, retail and industrial buildings.
Proven quantitative and analytical abilities, along with the ability to organize and prioritize details while completing multiple tasks on schedule.
Effective interpersonal and communications skills, partnered with well-developed customer service skills.
Computer literate with a variety of data sources and computer systems.
College degree or equivalent work/life experience.Job Requirements
