Clinical Research Coordinator III - Budget Manager

The Department of Clinical Research Management within the Kimmel Cancer
Center has a full time position available for a Clinical Research Coordinator III - Budget Manager. This individual will be responsible for working with the director of the Clinical Research Management Office and staff to develop, implement and manage the budgeting aspects for clinical protocols for all Principal Investigators that are served by the Kimmel Cancer Center Clinical Research Management Office.

Primary Responsibilities will include:
Reviewing all new protocols to determine requirements for financial feasibility.
Negotiating the clinical trial budget with funding sources/sponsors.
Monitoring fiscal status of grant/trial to ensure that the study is meeting financial goals and expectations.
Providing guidance to staff regarding informed consent language that deals with patient reimbursement and insurance issues.
REQUIREMENTS
RN degree.
Oncology experience required.
Clinical trial or medical insurance reimbursement background.
Budgeting and negotiation experience highly desirable.
