SUMMARY:

Performs advanced administrative, industry and professional support functions for a well-established team. Series 7 licensed or a willingness to become licensed within 6 months.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Drafts and types internal paperwork and client correspondence.

2.Handles financial advisor’s phone calls and fields more advanced client questions; initiates action and forwards only those calls necessary to the financial advisor for handling.

3.Maintains client files.

4.Initiates money market deposits, redemptions, check requests and wire transfers without financial advisor review.

5.Schedules various meetings, conference calls, etc. for Financial Advisors.

6.Performs any other duties as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor’s degree in business or comparable work experience of 4+ years in advanced administrative activities; preferably in the investment field.

2. Series 7 licensed or a willingness to become licensed within 6 months.

3.Excellent computer, word processing and spreadsheet skills. Utilizes Microsoft Word and Excel.

4.Excellent organizational skills - ability to prioritize daily workflow to effectively meet deadlines.

5. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

6. Strong written and verbal communication skills -- ability to effectively relate to others.
