Client Development Associate - San Francisco

Capital IQ, a division of Standard & Poor and a subsidiary of McGraw-Hill, is currently searching for Client Development Associates to join our San Francisco team.

The position of Associate, Client Development is responsible for training users in a group or individual setting, creating and updating financial models and spreadsheets, serving as an account manager on various client accounts, attending client meetings, idea generation and contribution to platform designs and upgrades and related initiatives in support of the group and the company.



Core Skills:

Excellent analytical capabilities, including financial modeling and valuation analysis

Strong ability to communicate with clients in a clear manner on a regular basis; ability to answer client questions/solve client problems in a timely manner with minimal guidance

Established relationship building and time management skills

Ability to develop comprehensive recommendations in efforts to improve the platform

Comfortable in providing demonstrations to potential users and training existing users of the platform

Ability to work independently as well as in a team-based environment

REQUIREMENTS


Qualifications:



q Bachelors degree; 2+ years of relevant experience

q Excellent writing and communication skills

q Familiarity with or an interest in learning about financial markets

q Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

q Familiarity with SQL and database structures a plus

q  Energetic personality and ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
