Charge Processing Supervisor

Responsible for leadership and supervision of charge processing team. He/she oversees the performance of coders, account processors and data entry staff that handle billing for physician clients. Ensuring corporate policies and procedures are followed; and quality and productivity standards are met.
Responsible for leadership and supervision of charge processing team, including:
-In partnership with the Regional Director and regional HR, identifying, interviewing and hiring appropriate charge processing team members
-Training and cross training new and existing employees
-participating in the yearly development and ongoing maintenance of team and individual goals and objectives. Ensuring that goals and objectives are met throughout the year
-Ensuring employees know, understand and comply with corporate policies and procedures
-Ensure that AAI quality and performance standards are met or exceeded by all employees, including appropriate coding, accurate data entry and timely submission of claims
-Monitor work flow, procedures and operational steps with team
-Arranging and assigning work;develop and implement appropriate staffing patterns and directs employees on a daily basis in order to manage work flow and meet performance standards
-Conducts team meetings at least once a month to communicate, address issues, and problem solve with team members
-Evaluates the performance of staff on a regular basis, developing action plans to improve employee performance
-Makes every effort to assure timely, fair and equitable corrective action, discipline and or termination of personnel under their supervision.
-Coordinates department activities with other departments as needed
-Establishes a positive work environment for all employees
-Will over see about 18-20 employeesMaintains procedure manuals and check lists for coding, data entry and posting charges. Communicates changes, updates and reminders in writing.Responsible for auditing of coding and charge entry;initial trouble shooting and analysis of billing and coding issues or problems.Reviews all charges returned to client and has oversight of accounts requiring posted charge modification.Interprets and implements policy as appropriate. Ensures Internal controls are followed appropriatelySupports clients by proactively planning and managing areas of potential impact. Responsible for resolving client problems and issues while holding the company perspectives.Perform other duties as assignedGenerous benefits package.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be a Certified Professional Coder.A minimum of 4 years relevent work experienceMust have supervisory/leadership skillsMust have management skillsGood Analytical, Communication and organizational skills. Must be detail oriented. Must beable to develop good relationships with clients and be a problem solver.Must be computer savvy. Advanced level window skills:word, excel, and power point.
