The Deloitte FAS Valuation practice comprises more than 300 full-time appraisers, financial analysts, accountants, economists, statisticians, and industry specialists in the U.S.  Together with our affiliates in the Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu ("DTT") network of member services, we have performed valuation and financial consulting services for clients all over the world.  With more than 800 valuation professionals in over 40 countries, the DTT network can assemble international teams to effectively and efficiently
meet our clients' needs. 
 
Our Valuation Services practice features a vast network of professionals in the U.S. through Deloitte FAS and the other Deloitte U.S. entities, and abroad through the DTT member firms and their affiliates. We possess seamless delivery capabilities, deep financial and accounting acumen and robust industry experience. Our Valuation professionals help companies define, measure and articulate the value of their assets by providing independent and well-supported valuations.  We help clients to properly quantify and articulate values for taxation, transaction, financing, litigation, and strategic management purposes. We understand the requirements associated with the development of value conclusions under GAAP, tax, and regulatory rules that allow companies to understand the value of an entity, asset, or liability so they can make informed business and investment decisions.  Key services include: Business Valuation, Engineering & Depreciation Advisory, Equipment Advisory,
Construction Advisory, Real Estate Financial Advisory, Lease Advisory, Dispute Resolution Support, and Reorganization Advisory Support.
 
The North Central regional valuation practice is looking to build a valuation eminence in Detroit.
 Senior Associate Requirements
 
- 2-5 years of financial advisory related experience
- Experience with valuation theory, applications, and financial modeling, and ability to prepare high quality valuation reports
- Demonstrated ability to structure and perform financial consulting projects, including managing multiple commitments
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong understanding of finance, accounting, and economics
- Experience in professional services firm preferred
- Undergraduate degree required; MBA, CPA, CFA and/or ASA a plus
