Business Process Leader
JOB DESCRIPTION:LEADING AEROSPACE MATERIALS MANUFACTURER IS LOOKING TO ADD A BUSINESS PROCESS LEADER RESPONSIBILITIES ·Lead the development and execution of Core Business Processes supporting both Program Management and Commercial functions .Core Business Processes include but are not limited to: --Strategic planning – development of a standardized process and execution roadmap for strategic planning in support of Strategic Business Segments --Opportunity Selection – development of standard practices, prioritization methods, and business cases in coordination with financial best practices to standardize the way opportunities are analyzed, screened and prioritized which will lead to the determination of the best opportunities --Product line management – development, standardization and implementation of functional marketing elements to maximize performance (i.e. segmentation, pricing, WVP, commercial/product road mapping, competitive intelligence, etc) --Program/project management – development and application of best practices, tools and processes as they relate to project management --New product introduction (NPI) – contribute to the development and implementation of standardized NPI process and tools ·Serve as the key link between Program Management, Sales and Leadership in support of standardized strategic planning, business plan development and opportunity analysis and selection. ·Contribute to the development, standardization & implementation of strategic business plans, capital projects, project plans and product roadmaps.·Provide training, skills development and application knowledge for newly developed and implemented tools·Provide coaching and mentoring to strategic segment leaders ·Contribute the knowledge of industry best practices as it relates to commercial business processes JOB REQUIREMENTS: REQUIREMENTS·BS/BA in a technical discipline (preferred), Business, Finance, or Marketing, MBA preferred·Six Sigma knowledge and experience ·International business experience·Willingness to travel 30-40% both domestic and globally·Strong understanding of core business processes and business decision processes ·Experience developing successful business plans and the alignment of resources - requiring a strong financial acumen·Experience marketing/managing a value-based, semi-custom product line ·Demonstrated ability and experience in strategic planning and the generation of business plans·Strong analytical skills·Experience with industry best practices as it relates to project management·Experience successfully leading and performing in a matrix environment·Must successfully manage change and continuous improvement programs.·Ability to work successfully in diverse, multi-functional teams·Strong communication, networking, relationship-building, and mentoring/coaching skills

LEADING AEROSPACE MATERIALS MANUFACTURER IS LOOKING TO ADD A BUSINESS PROCESS LEADER


RESPONSIBILITIES

·Lead the development and execution of Core Business Processes supporting both Program Management and Commercial functions

.Core Business Processes include but are not limited to:

--Strategic planning – development of a standardized process and execution roadmap for strategic planning in support of Strategic Business Segments

--Opportunity Selection – development of standard practices, prioritization methods, and business cases in coordination with financial best practices to standardize the way opportunities are analyzed, screened and prioritized which will lead to the determination of the best opportunities

--Product line management – development, standardization and implementation of functional marketing elements to maximize performance (i.e. segmentation, pricing, WVP, commercial/product road mapping, competitive intelligence, etc)

--Program/project management – development and application of best practices, tools and processes as they relate to project management

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
REQUIREMENTS
·BS/BA in a technical discipline (preferred), Business, Finance, or Marketing, MBA preferred
·Six Sigma knowledge and experience
·International business experience
·Willingness to travel 30-40% both domestic and globally
·Strong understanding of core business processes and business decision processes
·Experience developing successful business plans and the alignment of resources - requiring a strong financial acumen
·Experience marketing/managing a value-based, semi-custom product line
·Demonstrated ability and experience in strategic planning and the generation of business plans
·Strong analytical skills
·Experience with industry best practices as it relates to project management
·Experience successfully leading and performing in a matrix environment
·Must successfully manage change and continuous improvement programs.
·Ability to work successfully in diverse, multi-functional teams
