Business & Market Intelligence Information Manager

For more information, visit http://www.genworth.com.The primary responsibility of the role is to serve as the point person for various business and marketing related information needs within the Retirement Income & Investment (RI&I) division. The Business & Market Intelligence Information Manager will 1) compile and archive internal and external reports, studies and presentations; 2) identify and maintain a list of various data and information types and sources; 3) build and manage an information management system; 4) assist in monitoring and assessing competitive activity within existing product lines; and 5) assist in analyzing new market and product development opportunities.As the information point person for RI&I, this role will search, retrieve, distill, package and deliver information to various departments and managers around the business. Working with competitive intelligence and marketing research managers, this role will help supply competitive and market intelligence analysis. The incumbent may also prepare and distribute recurring reports to internal business audiences. Finally, this role will be a key contributor to supplying data and information content for business plans and presentations to senior management and for speeches by senior managers. This position reports to the Vice President of Business & Market Intelligence.The ideal candidate will have strong skills at finding, maintaining, analyzing and delivering relevant insightful information for various business purposes to multiple constituencies and will be comfortable consulting with other managers and clients from all areas and levels throughout the company.Basic Qualifications:5+ years experience analyzing information to identify patterns and make predictions with imperfect data
Prior experience working with individuals at all levels in the organization.
Prior experience managing multiple projects with creativity, enthusiasm and maturity.
Bachelors degree requiredPreferred Qualifications:Experience in financial services preferred.
Experience in the insurance industry is a strong plus.
A degree in Library Sciences and/or Masters degree in a business or information-related discipline is preferred
