GreenPoint Mortgage, the fifth largest wholesaler in the industry with a solid reputation in the Kansas City market is looking for an established Vice-President Operations Manager to manage the operations of this wholesale branch.
As a VP/Branch Operations Manager of GreenPoint Mortgage, the skills and attributes that solidified your reputation as a proven Team Leader and Manager in the mortgage industry will be called upon as you manage and mentor up your team of Underwriters, Closers and Processors. In order to succeed in this position you are someone who is customer service oriented and enjoys building a partnership with a Production Branch Manager and a progressive sales team. With our flexible products and competitive pricing you will take ownership of our exception process that gives you the power to decision the deal. GreenPoint offers a high touch service to our Brokers as we take the loans all the way from point of sale to funding.Essential Skills

A solid knowledge of the mortgage industry, lending guidelines and underwriting policies and procedures and local real estate lending laws as well as the loan exception process

Proven experience in team building by recognizing opportunities for employee training and career development
A strong customer service approach to building relationships with Sales and Operations Staff as well as the Broker community
Experience in working with document imaging or a “paperless” process a plus
