Purpose
As a Bankcard Operations Supervisor, you will provide day-to-day leadership to 3 - 5 team leaders and their respective teams of approximately 15 Bankcard Accounting and Operations team members. Create an environment that focuses on achieving quality, productivity and service level goals Manage the Chargeback/Fraud teams and/or support groups to minimize financial losses by pursuing every opportunity to recover funds through dispute resolution while complying with Federal and Visa regulations. Support the Manager of Bankcard Accounting and Operations in day to day operations, partnerships, and other related duties. Promote a culture that is Fast, Fun and Friendly and ensures a great work environment, promotes two-way communication and encourages and supports skill development.

See Yourself: Leadership: Providing leadership to 3-5 team leads that support a team of 10 - 15 team members. Ensuring the team functions at a high level of quality and efficiency when analyzing disputes/cases. Providing leadership in establishing and maintaining a high level of accuracy, productivity, and job knowledge among team members. Assisting with the development and support of new business strategies.
Performance Management: Communicating performance expectations. Delivering timely and impactful feedback to Team Leads. Evaluating team leaders and team members and participate in succession planning to develop staff. Owning team performance by recognizing strong performance and when performance is not meeting expectations hold team members accountable. Continually monitoring training and development to maximize team member performance to ensure the highest quality of service to Guests and the best expense control for Target. Recognition: Implementing and maintaining an effective recognition and communication program with Team Members to minimize attrition and retain high performance Team Members. Process Improvements: Maintaining a thorough understanding of the Visa Chargeback, and TSYS System processes, while evaluating processes to recommend solutions to drive greater efficiency. Initiating and supporting strategic initiatives aimed at improving work process, guest satisfaction and reducing unit cost. Business Knowledge: Developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of policies and procedures to effectively process cases/disputes and minimize financial loss. Communication: Interacting with Target Account Services, Fraud Prevention, Visa, Merchants and other business partners to maximize partnerships and increase effectiveness. Effectively communicating system and/or procedural changes to team members to promote understanding. Resolving escalated guest issues with their accounts that require higher leadership assistance and response to the guests. Expense Control: Preparing leadership financial budget for operational work centers including monthly forecasting. Monitoring performance and take corrective action if necessary to control expense.
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:4 year college degree
Proven leadership skills
Strong analytical, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills to understand and anticipate the impact and opportunities across multiple projects
Strong initiative and ability to work independently
Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills
Detail oriented with ability to format data clearly and concisely
PC skills
Innovative, resourceful, creative and flexible
Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment with a high sense of urgency
