Bank Operations Contract Manager

Job Description:

The Contracts Manager is responsible for management and administration of all contract-related activities in the Technology and Operations departments of Financial and Technology Services. Principle duties include contract development, negotiation and transition.
The Contracts Manager also creates, negotiates and incorporates contract amendments, renegotiating the contract, if required, to accommodate scope changes or revisions in organizational requirements. Support of individual technology and operations managers in contract and business-related matters, including vendor relationships / dispute resolution, is another major responsibility of this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Read all contracts before they are signed by technology and operations managers to determine if legal review is needed, terms and conditions are consistent with financial and operating objectives, and risk exposure to the vendor is minimized. Serve as liaison to technology and operations vendors in contract negotiations and resolution of billing and/or contract disputes. Maintain an approved vendor database and tracking system for all contracts submitted for review prior to approval. Assure that appropriate Gramm-Leach-Bliley contract documents are signed by all vendors having access to non-public customer information. Assure that all service providers designated as outsource vendors meet risk management requirements relevant to this classification of vendors, including SAS 70 submissions and evaluations. Assure that source code escrow arrangements are included in all software license agreements and liaison is established with third party escrow service providers. Serve as liaison to the Corporate Counsel with regard to contract and business matters brought to the attention of Financial and Technology Services.
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or other related field. Five years experience in a technology / operations environment. Understanding of technology and business contract principles. Knowledge of basic budgeting and financial management processes. Good oral and written communications, negotiation and collaboration skills that are capable of effective interaction with all levels of client, technology, operations and executive management.

Must be able to a credit check, criminal background check, drug screening, and reference check.
