BDI Specialist - North America Prime Brokerage Operations - NV

Project managers translate business issues and challenges into project solutions. PB BDI project managers are responsible for the scoping, planning, execution and monitoring of projects. Throughout the project, the manager is responsible for decision-making and is accountable to the sponsors for project delivery, quality and timeliness. Candidates will be involved with projects that support Prime Brokerage i.e., Settlements and Clearance, Custody, Margins, Asset Services etc…. The candidate will be expected to: Manage multiple projects Manage projects through their lifecycle Develop positive working relationships with clients Display innovative thinking and problem resolution with regards to issues Perform front to back analysis of business flows Provide status/risk reportingCLIENT Establishes and maintain working relationship with Prime Brokerage, IT, Operations and project sponsors Acts as a key point of contact for their projects Actively develops and maintains a network of key issues related to projects, making periodic reports on progress, problems/ risks ECONOMIC Demonstrates awareness of project management and business analysis best practices Is able to identify risk associated with PB and projects and can contribute to the mitigation of that risk Strives to ascend the product knowledge learning curve as quickly as possiblePEOPLE MANAGEMENT Leads by example Works closely with all project stakeholders Functions well as a member of larger teamTECHINICAL/FUNCTIONAL Working knowledge of Operations (and Prime Brokerage a +) Familiarity with project management lifecycles Strong communication skills both, written and oral Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Strong time management skills Ability to flourish in fast paced environment while multi-tasking Works well in a team environmentIf you are attracted to joining an organization where every individual’s contribution counts and where your talent will impact on our future, please apply for this position. REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications:Four year degree or international equivalent
2-3 years of related experience
Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, & Word)
Knowledge of Project Management Lifecycles
