Auto Underwriter

Rated “Excellent” by A. M. Best, Founders Insurance Company is a 105-year-old regional property and casualty insurer. We currently are seeking an Auto Underwriter for our Des Plaines headquarters.


•Underwrite new business applications, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and/or reinstatements
•Communicate with insureds and producers
•Other duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will possess the following:

•At least one year of relevant experience with an insurance agency or company
•Excellent oral communication skills, the ability to type at least 40 words per minute, and a high level of attention to detail.
