We integrate customized services, leverage expertise across industries and apply business knowledge to our clients' strategic goals.Currently we have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Broker in our Marine Practice Group in our NY, NY office.POSITION SUMMARY: Designs and negotiates risk transfer/risk financing products in the markets for assigned clients. The Associate Broker specializes in a specific product such as marine hull and liability.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
The Associate Broker identifies and analyzes client exposures and designs appropriate risk transfer /financing products. Facilitates and reviews the compilation of information for submission to carriers in conjunction with Relationship Managers and CSBU support. Finalizes market submission and product design options with Relationship Manager and client, as appropriate. Selects, submits and negotiates with appropriate markets to meet and exceed coverage with risk transfer/risk financing products. Creates syndication status reports as required by client. Analyzes and compares risk transfer/risk financing products and presents to relationship manager and client. Confirms final decisions and initiates program execution with Relationship Manager and Aon Client Services (ACS). Assists the Relationship Manager in establishing the Client Service Plan. Implements practices to reduce Aon’s errors and omissions exposure. Adheres to Aon’s adopted best practices. Performs related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Work experience that demonstrates the ability to execute job duties and responsibilities with minimal oversight. Broker’s license required
Computer skills, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint preferred. Excellent written/verbal communication skills. Broker’s license preferred.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
