Position Title: Associate Actuary - Global Energy

Travel Percentage: Minimum

Job Summary:
This Associate Actuary will sit in the Global Energy division. Initiates, organizes, directs and analyzes actuarial research and develops actuarial assumptions. Has advanced knowledge of ratemaking, reserving and forecasting. Does pricing, planning, profitability reviews and reviews reinsurance purchasing. Works with only general oversight. May supervise and train lower level students.

Job Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent

8 or more years of related experience.

1. The incumbent has advanced knowledge of actuarial statistics/assumptions used for rate making, loss reserving and forecasting. Very familiar with internal and external statistical plans and sources of data, and the use of spreadsheet applications.
2. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
3. Aware of emerging issues affecting product lines.
4. ACAS.
5. Eight exams - FCAS.
