Director position. This person would source, underwrite and close tax
credit investment properties - Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC).Duties of the position areSource, structure and negotiate new real estate investments
Evaluate market data; perform site visits, analyze financing
Call on developers and collect project-specific documentation
Conduct investment analysis, underwriting and documentation of
acquisitions
Propose projects for investment to the Investment Committee
Outline the benefits and risks of proposed projects
Close on investments
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate or other relevant area
Advanced degree in real estate, urban planning, or business preferred
Minimum of three years of directly related experience
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizations skills
Expertise with mathematical models
Skills in Microsoft including Excel
Excellent skills in problem solving and decision making
Affordable housing experience
Real Estate investment background
