This individual will be responsible for producing technical and analytical tools and information to support the development, negotiation and implementation of new reinsurance structures and programs. A variety of reinsurance projects will be assigned - such as modeling the financial impact of a reinsurance deal, gathering relevant information for reinsurers and investment bankers, validating rates or actuarial calculations and/or researching the impact of new reinsurance regulations.What else can we tell you?

REQUIREMENTS
Who is our ideal candidate?
We’re looking for a highly analytical and technically strong actuary (ASA or FSA) with at least 5 years of actuarial experience in product development, modeling or valuation of individual life products. Reinsurance experience is optimal. The candidate shall be a self starter, with ability to problem solve, develop new tools and do research to support new and ongoing projects. An expert in building spreadsheets is essential, as are strong oral and written communication skills. Exposure to TAI is a plus.
