Assistant,Asset Manager

Provide support to the Asset Managers. Interact with brokers, title companies, attorneys, buyers, and others to effectively enable property sales. Perform all duties in accordance with AMC policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Compile pertinent information on insurance claims for damaged properties and act as liaison between insurance companies, AMC and Investors.
-Order and track property appraisals in accordance with adopted procedures.
-Prepare broker assignment letters and acknowledgments; compile necessary information for brokers price opinions, walk-aways, insurance claims, legal claims, etc.
-Track and maintain rental log.
-Generate financials on all properties assigned to the region.
-Compile marketing plan as outlined by particular Investors.
-Process and forward general and rehabilitation invoices for payment to REO/Accounts Payable.
-Maintain broker database. Track documents for all REO files (BPO?s, appraisals, status reports and contract) and follow-up with brokers for missing documentation.
-Act as point-of-contact for Relocation Assistance Program applicants.
-Provide information on REO property inquiries.
-Assist Asset Managers in obtaining information on market for purposes of determining listing prices and price reduction.
-Perform data entry as required or new assignments, appraisals, BPO?s & insurance claims.
-Prepare and mail Fed-X Packages.
-Prepare Withhold Authorizations.
-Mail and track Cash for Keys checks.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & LICENSES:

-General knowledge of real estate principals and practices and unlawful detainer proceedings
-Ability to work independently and to deal effectively with the public
-Strong telephone skills
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Typing speed of 35-45 WPM
-Detail-oriented and accurate
-Excellent customer service skills

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

-High School diploma or equivalent
-Two or more years experience in real estate sales or property management experience, preferably working in a high volume real estate or REO department

MACHINES, OFFICE EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE:

-Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office, and CPI/Alltel servicing system or willingness to learn system
-Personal computer, facsimile and photocopier
