Asset Manager

Position:
Reporting directly to the executive management of the organization, the successful candidate will take a leadership role in helping create a first class asset management function for the company. This person will have a tremendous amount of visibility within this organization as they collaborate with senior executive management in developing and executing the strategic direction for the portfolio. Specific responsibilities include:
Position Responsibilities:
•Ensure operational performance in accordance with investment objectives;
•Manage third party firms that provide leasing, property management, and development services across a variety of property types;
•Formulate project leasing strategies and develop and oversee key tenant relationships;
•Monitor in place debt on existing assets and evaluate asset and portfolio leverage, interest rate exposure, and opportunities to enhance portfolio value through financial tools;
•Perform hold/sell analyses and, if appropriate assist in the disposition of select assets.
•Coordinate annual appraisal and valuation process
•Coordinate investor reporting;
•Lead role in the preparation and presentation of annual property budgets
REQUIREMENTS
Skills:
The ideal candidate would have 7 to 10 years of asset management experience, including line responsibility for leasing, property operations and project level financing. An MBA is desired but not required. Candidate should have strong analytical, management, and negotiating skills that will lead to success in a dynamic team environment including:

•Ability to work successfully in a fluid team environment under tight deadlines.
