Active Directory/Exchange Architect

A Senior Engineer to design, implement and maintain Active Directory and Exchange Server implementations to leverage internal AD credentials to authenticate against external applications. The Active Directory Engineer should have experience in Windows 2000/2003 deployments. From these experiences, the individual should have gained an understanding of how AD fits into the big picture from an enterprise perspective. From a design perspective, the Active Directory Engineer needs to be able to make design decisions on all key components of Active Directory, including DNS, forest, domain, sites, OU, etc. and have a clear understanding of the rationale for the deployment of each component.
•Must have worked in a large enterprise environment (10,000+ users)
•Must have Implementation Experience i.e., enterprise implementations with more than 20,000 users base
•Ability to document processes.
•Skilled in interpreting customer requirements and turning them into solutions (functional requirements).
REQUIREMENTS
Engineering background

•Must have 6 years experience with Windows server platforms, demonstrable experience with Windows 2000/2003 server, and heavy experience in AD, DNS, and LDAP implementations
•Must have experience with Microsoft Exchange server
•Must be familiar with security issues related to Windows servers and their components.
•MSCE 2000/2003 required.

General Skills

•Must be skilled in communications, both written and oral
•Must be able to operate in a close-knit team environment
•Must be able to work with technical and non-technical staff at all levels
•Federal contracting experience will be a plus
•Must be clearable to Secret

MUST BE a United States citizen.
MUST BE clearable to Top Secret. Current active Secret or better is preferred.
