Accounting & Financial Analyst

Universal Music Group, is currently seeking an Accounting & Financial Analyst for the Miami, Florida location.

The Accounting and Financial Analyst will be required to:

- Prepare accounting month end closing of a Non Operational/Regional Corporate business unit (limited P&L, BS and Cash Flow Statements), including
- Preparation of quarterly forecast of a NonOperational/Regional Corporate business unit (limited P&L, BS and Cash Flow Statements
- In charge of the monitoring and control of fixed assets.

Latin America Region Operational Companies

- Preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports of 9 business entities of the region for management review.
- Preparation and summary of key financial ratios and indicators of the different Opcos (DSO, inventory levels) and compile and summary Opcos financial supplementary information
- Preparation of different statistical reports of 9 Opcos of the Latin American Region including market share, top sellers and marketing spend
- Other ad hoc projects.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree in Accounting required.
* No Finance Degrees please.*
- 2 to 4 years of accounting and financial analytical experience and or audit experience, CPA preferred.
- Spanish and/or Portuguese
- Music business or other entertainment experience preferred.
- Accounting and Reporting systems: JDEdwards and/or Hyperion.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to details, good organization skills.
