Clark Consulting is a leading public executive compensation and benefits consulting firm that provides non-qualified benefit plan designs and life insurance finance solutions for banks, insurance companies, and other publicly and privately held corporations. We are currently seeking an Account Executive to be based in the Bloomington, MN office to support clients and sales consultants in North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and Kansas. Responsibilities include enhancing presale relationships and services by providing a primary point of contact for the client, consultant and sales support departments during the presale process; guiding the case through the implementation process; performing a quality review of the proposal, documentation and agreements; integrating the Account Manager and appropriate service members in the sales process; and coordinating ongoing client service and add on business.
REQUIREMENTS
-Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, accounting, management, business administration, insurance or a related field. Significant work experience in a similar business environment may be considered in lieu of the formal education requirement.
-Preferred additional credentials and/or designations include: Certified Public Accountant, CLU, CEBS, CFP, ChFC, CBP, CCP, Series 6 & 63 licenses.
- 2-3 years in a similar occupation preferred, preferably experience with non-qualified benefit plans, employee benefits, insurance, or the banking industry.
-Health/Life insurance license or a commitment to obtain licensing within 6 months of hire.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and the ability to use complex Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
-Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to positively influence others to get things done.
-Effective oral and verbal communication skills, including the ability to discuss complex financial/tax/insurance concepts with a sophisticated, knowledgeable audience (sales consultants, bankers).
-Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks to satisfy deadlines
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
