7897_7556 - Marketing Project Manager, Portfolio Usage

This position will assist with the development and execution of the marketing plan within the 6-12 Usage Marketing team. Key objectives include: growing card usage, profitability and wallet position.Responsibilities:
Manage multi-channel marketing efforts from conception through execution, including reporting and evaluation
Develop and maintain working relationships with key business partners throughout the organization (Legal, List Management, eCommerce, Analytics, Finance)
Oversee creative development and production process to ensure timely and error- free execution of marketing campaigns that are within budget
Oversee budget management which includes accurate forecasting of monthly and annual expenses, as well as, identifying opportunities to reduce expenses
Monitor and report on competitive environment using various resources, making recommendations for strategy enhancements where appropriate
Identify additional opportunities/programs that enhance the Cardmembers’ experience and increase the number that consider Discover their primary card
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree preferredSolid understanding of marketing principlesExcellent oral and written communications skillsAbility to multi-task in an independent environmentMinimum of 4 years marketing experience preferred
