The Johns Hopkins Hospital is seeking a Zone Maintenance Mechanic I.

Day Shift (7:00am – 3:30pm) 1 Position
Weekend Shift (7:00am – 11:30pm) 1 Position

Responsibilities include performing inspections, maintenance and repair work on building systems and components. This requires using the tools and techniques of various technologies, including electrical, carpentry, mechanical, and plumbing. Must complete work orders in timely and efficient manner. Diagnose routine maintenance problems and conditions and implements solutions. Respond to emergency maintenance calls and perform necessary repair work. Maintain customer service satisfaction. Candidates having experience with computerized pneumatic tube systems will be highly considered.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidate must possess five years related work experience. The full-time equivalent spent in a formal training program may count toward the five year work experience requirement. Requires proficient written and verbal English communication skills. Experience in a health care environment preferred.
