Job Duties:
•As a Watch Engineer, you will utilize the technical skills required to operate, maintain, repair, and inspect building mechanical systems and associated control systems. You will also review and interpret work order forms, building plans and mechanical equipment drawings as well as maintain and repair refrigeration compressors, coils, valves, condensers, cooling towers, pumps and other associated cooling equipment.
•You will also operate, repair and maintain various types of heating and air conditioning plants and associated equipment. In addition, maintain and repair air handling equipment. as well as calibrates various makes of pneumatic and/or electric controls required for the operation of equipment and the control of temperature and humidity.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements:
•The successful candidate must have a valid refrigeration license as well as a valid driver’s license and a good driving record; must pass and obtain a certificate of fitness for one of the following: fire standpipe, sprinkler, welding, oil burner and air compressor operations.
•The successful candidate will have specific technical skills in air conditioning, heating, ventilation, plumbing, locksmith, electrical controls, air distribution and general mechanic plant maintenance are required
•Must have the flexibility to work varied days/evenings hours & overtime as required as well as pass pre-employment testing; medical screen, field interview and a background check.
