Woodard & Curran, a leading environmental and contract operations firm, is seeking a full time Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator in Elkin, North Carolina.

This position is responsible for the operation and general maintenance of equipment at a textile waste treatment facility. Primary focus will be in operation and maintenance of facilities equipment and process control.

This is a full time temporary position lasting at least 6 months.
REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

North Carolina Grade II or higher wastewater operators license requiredMinimum five years of professional experience in the operation and maintenance of a wastewater treatment facilityKnowledge of lab testing, sludge drying bed operation, polymer systems, and pumpsHigh School graduate or equivalent, with technical/vocational school backgroundApplicant must possess a valid Drivers License and a good driving record and must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
