Works with other departments for the purpose of Procuring Planning, and Coordinating Component Requirements To Ensure Supply Continuity.
Reviews MRP (Planning System) requirements, Issues Requisitions, and Converts Requisitions Into Purchase Orders
Monitors and Reports On Corporate Supply Goals and Budgets:

· PPV (Purchase Price Variance)

· Inventory Levels

· Supplier’s Metric (Delivery Performance, Quality)

· Costs

· Warehousing

· Supplier Agreement


Coordinate & Monitor Changes in Supply Requirements

· Engineering – quality of components

· Customer – quality standards and bottle types

· Graphic – labels, regulatory requirements

· Marketing - sourcing of new bottles, cost/pricing advantages


Maintain Data Integrity on AS400:

· Leadtime

· Buyer/Planner Code –metrics reporting

· Standard Cost

· Bid Packages

· Data Base


Performs Special Assignments As Requested
REQUIREMENTS

Some college preferred.
Three to five years of purchasing/planning experience.
