NO AGENCIES PLEASE Leads daily shift activities. Inventories and orders products from produce, baked goods, dairy products, liquor dry goods, frozen products and equipment, etc. Participates in month end inventory. Receives and checks quality of food products, materials and equipment. Matches purchase orders with invoices for reconciliation with accounts payable. Receives requisitions, completes and delivers product to requisitioning department. Completes requisitions for equipment. Delivers equipment shipment to cargo or from vendors/customers. Audits the kitchen for excess equipment. Generates purchase order from the computer (Inventory Control System, ICS). Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of storeroom. Maintains equipment in proper working order. Conducts physical inventory. Conducts weekly inspection of the storeroom to ensure daily activities are completed. Drives company vehicle and forklift. Operates forklift, baler, hand truck and pallet jack. Receives and stores commercial chemicals. Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED. One-year experience in warehouse/storeroom operation or related field. Minimum of one-year experience in a leadership role. Must have valid driver"&tm;s license and current driving abstract. Commercial drivers license if required. Able to obtain 10-year FAA security access background clearance. Basic math skills to include addition, subtraction, division and percentages. Working knowledge and/or experience in Windows, Microsoft Office software programs and ability to navigate the internet(i.e.; AOL, etc). Ability to learn the company inventory system. Ability to read, speak and write English. Lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs. of product. Receive, store, and deliver product. Pushing and pulling up to 1000 lbs. of soda/liquor pallets with pallet jack. Climb heights over 10 feet to store or pull product. Able to hear paging system to respond to product requisitions and delivery of merchandise. Ability to see to operate storeroom equipment from forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, etc. Mathematical ability to take inventories, place orders and complete requisitions. Attention to detail while conducting physical inventories and operating forklift. Indoor under regular manufacturing environment conditions. Works in high bay freezer at 0 degrees F for a minimum of 45 minute intervals. Works with chemicals as covered by Material Safety Data Sheets.
