Senior Maintenance Technician

McKinley, a national leader in real estate and property management, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role you will be reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor at The Parks, a 364 unit community located in Taylor, MI.


As a Senior Maintenance Technician you will be responsible keeping apartment and community buildings in clean and orderly condition, ensuring that the physical aspects of the property meet the company’s established standards and applicable laws. Additionally, you will diagnose problems and make repairs in areas such as but not limited to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, pool, carpentry, dry walling, appliances, carpet cleaning and exterior structure. This position is the lead backup for the supervisor during absences and may have some day-to-day supervision responsibilities in directing other maintenance and grounds staff and contractor services.


The successful candidate will possess advanced skills in one or more technical area; three to five years related experience and/or training; must hold HVAC or CFC certification; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Property management firm experience is preferred, but not required.
