J/S D667 Engineering Scheduling and Tracking Analyst Sr.

Job Summary: Designs and develops systems/ programs/ macros to track Engineering data and facilitate development of performance measurement charts and reports. Performs design evaluations. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Provides technical leadership and assists in the training of new employees. Validates measurement reports, charts and graphs for accuracy, prior to publication. Maintains Engineering Change Request System and provides security access and field layout definitions. Serves as a primary resource in introducing and implementing new technology, by utilizing his knowledge of application systems analysis and programming. Builds bridges between databases to facilitate the generation of cockpit charts and other required reports. Serves as a primary interface with Information Technology for systems requirements (Hardware, Software) and problem resolutions.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:
1. Provides technical leadership for Engineering data and process analysis.
2. Plan and manage tasks or activities to meet established deadlines.
3. Provides adhoc reporting for management awareness.
4. Actively participates in data management process and documentation.
5. Develops, executes and performs functional test plans as required for developmental/programming areas and end user processes.
6. Provide analysis/discussion with Engineering Cross Functional Team.
7. Maintains a current knowledge of process tools and innovation within this field.

Additional Functions:
1. Develop performance metrics reporting for Management.
2. Develop system/application user training requirements and documentation.
3. Participate in system/application implementation projects.
Experience Requireed:
1. Bachelors degree in computer science, a related curriculum, or equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
2. Eight (8) years related data processing experience or other business or technical experience to include three (3) years experience with micro or mini computers, with a conceptual knowledge of information center techniques required.
3. Highly Experienced with PC based software such as Excel, Project, Access, Word and Power Point.
4.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Unique Skill Requirement:
1.Knowledge of programming with Visual Basic in Access and Excel highly desirable.
2.Knowledge of Perl / ASP , HTML and SQL a plus.Job Requirements
