Our Property Claims Representatives:

·Will inspect damaged property and determine claims related damage·Estimate the cost of repairs or replacement of damaged or stolen property
·Identify subrogation rights, report on claim status and negotiate settlements (has authority to make payment of assigned claims within set limits)

Territory: Ideal location is Baton Rouge. Will travel on regular basis to N. LaFayette & Lake Charles areas, as well as New Orleans

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:

Four-year college degree is required to apply for this position

Minimum 1 year work experience in the insurance industry

Excellent customer service and communication skills and sound judgment and decision making skills

Valid driver's license, bondable,computer proficiency

Construction knowledge helpful

Must pass pre-employment assessments and be able to attend a 3 week off-site training course Spanish Speaking skills are a plus! These candidates will receive extra compensation for Spanish speaking abilities
