Power Electrical Engineer/ Supervisor

In this smaller yet expanding chemical/ polymer plant of a large corporation you will be one of two electrical engineers at the facility. Responsibilities will be for project and maintenance engineering in the power area, and will have leadership/ supervisory responsibilities over the Electrical Department which includes the Department Supervisor, 2 Systems Maintenance Specialists and 8 Instrument/Electrical Specialists. Technical areas include high and low voltage power applications, plus working with electrical and motor controls, switchgear, and power distribution. Will also have some involvement in instrumentation and some automated controls.

Not - located in the Beaumont/ Port Arthur area.
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered you need a BS in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years in power distribution in a chemical plant, paper mill, steel mill, or similar facility. 2+ recent years in supervision are desirable.
