REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
?Must support the mission, vision and values of NDSCS.
? Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physical Plant management or related field & at least 5 years exp in some capacity of facilities management with a proven track record of increasing responsibility in academic, healthcare system, complex utility company, municipal government or other related environment or equivalent education and/or experience. ? Working knowledge of construction purchasing and contracting, including experience dealing with engineers, architects, and contractors.
? Proven ability to communicate throughout all levels of the organization.? Proven ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff andother constituents on campus and in the community.
? Successful experience building and maintaining budgets
? Valid Driver's License.QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:
? 10 years experience in mid-size physical plant.? Supervised a department of at least 25 people.? Masters degree in a related field.? Knowledge of energy management.
? Experience in developing and providing training programs; examples of topics include: OSHA, welding, safety, etc.
