Part Time Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking a Part Time (avg 15-20 hrs per week) Maintenance Technician with proven track record. Will be servicing local retail and home improvement stores in a 2hr radius of Medford/Ashland/Grants Pass, Oregon. Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintaining, trouble shooting and servicing mechanical & electrical equipment with plc and relay logic controllers.
Read mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.
Work with fellow employees, vendors, location managers, assistants, associates and others.
Working with computer applications including word processing, excel spreadsheets, inventory control and reporting.
Prioritize, plan, schedule and perform daily machine repairs.
Must use sound judgment when dealing with and eliminating safety related issues.
Must provide daily reports and communicate regularly with store managers, the regional DOC Supervisor and the assigned office administrator.
Perform telephone activities and process paperwork in accordance with DOC policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to complete all areas outlined for this position in a satisfactory manner. Listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities necessary to meet the minimum job requirements:
Education:
High School Diploma, GED, Technical or Trade School.
Experience:
Have three to five (3-5) years’ minimum experience working in the machine repair field and/or facilities maintenance department of a machine tool or manufacturing company or similar business.
The employee must have the ability to troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical assemblies, electric motors and simple control wiring.
Experience with HVAC systems and generators a plus.
Mechanical, Electrical and PLC experience.
Leadership skills are a plus.
Licenses/Certification:
A valid Driver’s License along with proof of insurance is required.
Skill and Knowledge:
Must be able to manage time and set priorities.
Must be computer literate, organized and detail oriented.
The employee must be able to perform his/her job in a professional manner.
Must be able to communicate and work well with superiors, customer personnel, co-workers, suppliers and others associated with the company’s business.
The employee must be familiar with lockout tagout procedures as required by OSHA.
Other:

Professional appearance, demeanor, and flexibility a must.
CNC experience and/or electrical license a definite plus.
