PRODUCTION ENGINEER - CHEMICALS

CHEMICAL, PETROCHEMICAL, REFINERY & PHARMACEUTICAL RECRUITERS

Duties include providing day-to-day support of the Manufacturing process, trouble shooting upset situations and general support for Unit. This includes support to projects, unit turnarounds & shutdowns, quality improvement, process and ESH related improvements. Person will maintain proper documentation while providing process engineering assistance to the group. Examples to include, managing production rates to match business demand, monitoring and improving raw material and utility yields, and providing timely communications to management and the unit. The position will also involve leading efforts in PSM, as well as supporting document management (MOC process). Additional responsibilities include supporting capital project installation efforts, participating in accident/incident investigations, developing operating procedures, performing training and providing off-hours support.
REQUIREMENTS
A degree in Chemical Engineering and a minimum of 2 years of plant experience in the chemical or petrochemical industry. Candidate should be results oriented with good interpersonal, communication and team-based skills, and able to work in a diverse team environment.
