PLANT MANAGER

CHEMICAL, PETROCHEMICAL, REFINERY & PHARMACEUTICAL RECRUITERS

The Plant Manager will supervise and manage the daily operation of the Plant to produce products and intermediates for our internal and external customer requirements. Will supervise approximately 50 people consisting of engineers, shift supervisors and operators. Responsibilities will include insuring the safe operation of the Plant and meet or exceed all environmental policies and regulations, controlling manufacturing costs within budget, coordinate the operation of the Plant with other functional groups, such as EH&S, Maintenance, Engineering, Financial and Human Resources and developing personnel within a culture of continual improvement.
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Chemical Engineering and at least 7 years experience, prefer 10 years working in a chemical plant environment with managerial, supervisory and technical responsibilities. Preference for Union experience, but not a must. Talent and team work the key.
