Bryn Mawr Hospital is seeking an Operations Manager to be responsible for the overall performance of the Hospital Material Management functions, including developing and achieving performance standards and goals and departmental supply management. This individual will coordinate and integrate goals and functions with the MLH Material Management goals and functions, while directing activities of hospital Materials Staff and manage their performance. Will also manage and assist in the development of the hospital Materials Management budget and be responsible for design and management of the following materials processes and systems:
-Delivery/distribution systems
-Inventory management
-Acquisition/order processing
-Inventory control
-Equipment processing and sterilization
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or six to seven years experience managing in a Materials Management environment in lieu of degree. If degree has been obtained, then two to three years management experience in a health care Materials Management environment required.
