Operations Manager - Lombard, IL

As our Workspace Operations Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of the Design, Order Processing, Order Implementation, and Project Management process. You will also assist with the establishment of company goals, and you will be accountable for meeting and exceeding these goals for their area of responsibility.



Other responsibilities include:Participates in the hiring of new designers, project managers, and administrative staff. Manages, coaches, and evaluates these employees to assure the finest caliber of people for the company. Manages human resources to maximize efficiency and effectiveness while insuring customer satisfaction. Involved in all key customer presentations sharing how our internal systems support customer needs. Implements overall presentation feel. Responsible for the "look and feel" of all materials used to market the company and the showroom. Develops a "Preferred Vendor" program and maintains relationships with key vendors. Negotiates all "special pricing" with vendors and maintains a database on pricing. Manages relationships with outside installation/service providers. Actively develops new creative ways to keep the company ahead of the competition. Works toward budget/sales goals and customer satisfaction.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience. 5+ years of administrative experience at a furniture dealer preferred. Exceptional industry, dealer, and product knowledge required. A strong understanding of how the dealership works. Local travel required. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high stress environment. Superior verbal and written communication skills.
