Minimum 5 years experience in a critical facilities/data center environment or service field, preferably in a data center, managing 100% uptime. Requires documented S2 or D2 and certified to reclaim refrigerant. Experience with chiller plants, heating & cooling systems, building management systems, and experience with critical electrical systems, emergency generators, transfer switchgear, UPS systems, PDU's, etc. Critical systems diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and operations skills a must. Ability to implement critical processes/programs and be detailed oriented as it relates to technical documentation and critical processes.
REQUIREMENTS
Completion of a two year technical degree or equivalent plus two years experience as an O&M Maintenance Specialist II or completion of an apprenticeship program. State Journeyman's refrigeration license or equivalent, including five or more years experience in operations and maintenance. Requires in-depth knowledge of various maintenance fundamentals sufficient to deal with service and repairs. Must be physically able to perform basic maintenance tasks to the highest caliber, which includes ability to: climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs., etc. . May be required to use a variety of hand and power tools or forklift. May be required to possess a valid driver's license. Must be a team player committed to working in a quality environment. Must be able to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays as needed. May be expected to work overtime and rotating on-call duty as required. Excellent organizational skills, a high energy level, and exceptional PC proficiency are essential..
