Medical, Dental, Prescription drug coverage, Vision, 401 K, Stock purchase options, life insurance, disability insurance, etc.Cornell Companies, a leader in the juvenile justice field, is seeking qualified candidates for the Night Supervisor position in our Cornell Abraxas Academy located in Morgantown, PA.The position provides a wide range of services to support the academy's needs and ensures the health, safety, and welfare of clients during sleeping hours by performing the following duties:- Maintain eyeball supervision and proximity control to ensure clients are safe and secure at all times.- Supervise, assist with hiring, and evaluate staff performance, develop measurable objectives for necessary improvements and implement appropriate corrective action to staff as needed.- Maintain log of significant events during shift that includes headcounts, vehicle dispatches, clinical events, program/facility condition, AWOL, and suicide attempts.- Prepare weekly night shift staff schedule for the appropriate supervisor, which includes the scheduling of paid time off, holiday time, and overtime.Must demonstrate proficiency in Safe Crisis Management physical restraint technology training.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements are as Follows:High School diploma or GED and minimum five years related experience; or
Associate's degree in related field and minimum three years related experience in juvenile field; orBachelor's degree in related field and minimum one year related experience in juvenile field.Must be at least 21 years of age, criminal clearances (Act 33/34), pre-employment drug screening and valid driver's license.
