The Night Shift Supervisor assists the Environmental Services Manager with daily operations and supervision of the housekeeping/laundry departments.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):scheduling daily staff assignments, supply requisition, monitoring and evaluating staff performance.assists with recruitment, orientation and training for new hires and on-going education for department staff.provides coaching, feedback, and counseling to staff members according to the guidelines set by St. John's Medical Center.performs housekeeping/laundry duties on a regular basis.performs duties according to the Scope of Service for Environmental Services.adheres to and practices St. John's Corporate Compliance Program and follows all HIPPA regulations.
Shift/Hours:
2:00 pm - 12:30 am Days Vary

REQUIREMENTS
Prefer previous hospital Housekeeping/laundry supervisory experience or related experience in housekeeping/laundry employment. Basic computer skills. Requires good communication and interpersonal skills. Must interact with patients, public and Medical Center staff in a courteous, professional manner. Must be able to work quickly and adapt to frequent changes in routine. Must be flexible with work schedule as days off or shifts may vary. Demonstrate an ability to problem-solve and make decisions according to priorities and standards. Must be thorough and detailed in all assignments. Demonstrate willingness to follow all St. John's Medical Center and E.S. departmental policies and procedures.
