Night Shift Maintenance Supervisor

Hawaiian Cement Oahu Concrete and Aggregate Division has an immediate opening for the following position.

NIGHT SHIFT MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
The position reports to the Maintenance/Fleet Manager and is responsible for managing, directing and the implementation of mobile equipment and plant maintenance strategies and programs to ensure that all maintenance, servicing and repair of Company equipment is completed in a timely, efficient manner and within budgetary guidelines.

The Night Shift Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for assessing equipment maintenance requirements for the night shift, prioritizing and assigning work to fellow employees,ensuring that mechanics/service personnel have the necessary tools, parts, time and ability to complete the assigned work.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to meet the following requirements. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required for the position.

• Minimum of five (5) years experience in supervisory positions utilizing a combination of technical, managerial and financial skills with an emphasis on fleet and plant equipment management.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Access.

• Capable of learning new software platforms quickly and readily.

• Creative problem solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Proven ability to work with others.

• Must be flexible in hours/days worked, including weekends and holidays.
