Manufacturing Supervisor

Ariens, the 2005 Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year, is looking for a motivated individual with strong supervisory skills to add to our team. This position is a SECOND SHIFT position in the snow equipment value stream-assembly. Responsibilities include:
•Plans, directs, coordinates and supervises manufacturing processes and activities in industrial plant to meet Policy Deployment Goals
•Provides support to improve performance, and ease of manufacturing to existing products
•Works closely with Manufacturing and Assembly Leaders to insure inventory and delivered goals are attained
•Develops, evaluates and improves manufacturing methods
•Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum safety, quality, productivity and delivery
•Interprets company policies to workers and enforces the use of Ariens Core Values.
•Evaluates and improves workstation safety and enforces company safety policies.
•Evaluates quality data and takes or assigns action to achieve root cause quality solutions.
•Analyzes and evaluates production control charts and other data to find and make productivity improvements.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
•Associates degree or Bachelor's degree (B.S.) preferred but not required
•Three to five years related experience and/or training
•Supervisory skills helpful•A track record of personal growth and development
•Positive attitude and a demonstrated ability to get things done
