Manager/Team Leader Facilities, Engineering

Business Unit: GE Infrastructure, AviationFunction: FacilitiesResponsibilities: * Provide total group leadership to continuously improve processes for all assigned services.
Coordinate service improvement programs and provide process/service method excellence throughout the organization.
Ensure communication of business/customer issues to members of the group.
Pursue state of the art technology and processes to enhance serviceability and delivered quality requirements.
Provide leadership to achieve resource utilization, cost attainment, quality, delivery, and cost reduction.
Select, hire, train, develop and provide ongoing leadership and direction to the group.
Interface with engineering, projects, internal resources, suppliers, and customers to assure requirements are met on time while meeting customer and business expectations.
Ongoing communication of key business/customer issues.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in a Facilities leadership position).
At least 5 additional years of experience in Facilities and Maintenance processes and/or shop measurements.Desired: * Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Established analytical abilities.
